SportImpact is organizing the ‘Sport for Life Youth Leadership Camp’ Final Event & Graduation, Saturday morning, 16 of July, at Borba Barden (behind Motael Church) in Dili, and invites all the interested in having fun to take part of this sport celebration.
Remember that SportImpact has been organizing the ‘Sport for Life Youth Leadership Camp’ in Dili from 4th to 16th of July, with participation of 26 young leaders from 10 municipalities of Timor-Leste. Press here to read more about the Camp and SportImpact’s legacy strategy.
This event will be co-organized with the 26 graduates of the ‘Sport for Life Youth Leadership Camp’. During the Camp the participants were stimulated by SportImpact´s facilitators to empower themselves to pursue their projects and dreams instead of just waiting for external support. Inspired by Peace and Sport’s Adapted Sport Manual, they built sport equipment for the event from local materials and recycled garbage, overcoming the lack of official (and expensive) equipment.
